Too bad Lou Diamond Phillips is so old – I think he’d make a great Felipe.
Kevin Costner could play David Weathers – old and awful at his job (even if he did play in three of the greatest baseball movies ever. Even Weathers has had good days.) Minus the looks, of course.
Phillip Seymour Hoffman rocks, but I don’t think he’s a Coffey. He’s more like a Narron.
I thought Hoffman would bring some gravity and sould-searching angst to the role of Coffey: “O Fate, why hast thou made the sole reliable reliever me?” And he looks a little like him too.
Narron: R. Lee Ermey? Or is that too much?
