Belisle To DL

The reds have today put RHP Mark Belisle on the 15-day disabled list with a strained lower back. Justin Germano, who was scheduled to start for the Louisville Bats tonight, has been called up and flew to Chicago to fill Belisle's spot in the bullpen.
Oh man, I need to think of a nickname for Germano.
Mark Belisle, huh? So my Crack Hard Facts Staff IS fallible! 😉

That’s what I get for being in a hurry. I was working on my magazine column when I heard he’d been put on the DL, and I took a very short break and posted that in a hurry…and I went to school with a kid who was named Mark Belisle (probably no relation).
FWIW, Bob Uecker made the same mistake once, and he’s in the Radio Hall of Fame. Called him Mark Belisle the whole time he was in the game.
