Episode 35: Chatting with Bubba Crosby
I grabbed a couple of minutes of Bubba Crosby's time to ask some inane questions, because I knew you guys would want it that way. He didn't smile much, and that made me a little nervous, but I still think that it came out OK.
Joel did me the service of securing our new podcast intro. Thanks, Joel!

Ooh, thanks!!! What a great pic, too. Is this from today? He looks good in red.
And don’t worry, Bubba never smiles a lot. A little shy, I think.
The interview turned out great. But hey, what does he mean, “New York fans are crazy”??!
Denorfia was the same way, he didn’t smile much either.
“Was”? Does that mean he’s repented of his unsmiling ways?
Maybe Bubba will lighten up a bit in Cincinnati. Youse guys seem to have a lot more fun than the ever-corporate Yankees. You’ve got cheerleaders. And mascots. And Posters for the Unmotivated.
And a $50 million payroll. I bet that takes some of the pressure off.
The Yankees paid more than $50 million just for their center fielder. 😛
And I gotta say, Bubba cracks me up, talking about “marketing his name” and such. In case you couldn’t guess, his degree from Rice is in business.
BTW, the denizens of my blog (fondly known as “the anonymous horde,” because most of them are too danged lazy to register or even just pick a nick) think you have a sexy voice.
 Aw, shucks. Good thing there was no video to spoil the effect!
