C. Trent called the homer by Votto. Says he has witnesses.
I don’t know if I believe him….
He just gave you a plug too, BF
He’s got a crush on BF <3
I saw that. And I’m happy to hear that Bubba still has friends over there.
Heh, seems that way, he always issues those BUBBA ALERTs when Crosby comes into a game, too
Anyway, he linked BF’s site too
I’m jealous. A correctly spelled link! :hehe:
Darn radio station faded out again, I hope we are still winning
Got it back. Leadoff double, tying run aboard. Ramirez still pitching.
They bunt him to third.
And now they’re tied again. Drat.
Pure Evil ties it up.
Just what we need, extra innings in a spring training game.
They could just call it a tie. The Reds would remain undefeated, right?
Well, grounds-rule double, that puts Yankees at second and third with two out. Might as well load ’em up.
KT = HBP, Sacks are drunk for Gardner.
Well, they’re loaded, thanks to the HBP.
Ramirez gets ahead 0-2
I can’t believe what a mess this inning is, after such a good game.
Full count.
Punched him out! We’re headed to extra innings.
Free baseball!
Whew!!
I was going to say Ramirez hadn’t helped his cause any with that inning, but to say that the strikeout of gardner was huge would just be stating the obvious.
Hopper has a hit on a, well, hopper past short and here comes Dickerson
Pops up a bunt attempt, one out
BUBBA ALERT!
Votto will win it with his second HR of the game
Crosby beat the throw to stay out of the DP, and here’s Votto
Sation faded out, dunno what happened with Votto but the Reds’ half of the inning is over
😥
Well, we still have Weathers left
Tom Shearn is in there to pitch? Oh, boy.
Tom Shearn on the mound. I’d really like for him to do well, and not just because I got an e-mail from his wife (though that helps).
Bubba is such a stud.
Well, you called it, RHM, it ends in a ties, the Reds remain undefeated.
Game over. It’s a tie. Reds still undefeated.
They should have had Bubba pitch. 😛
Awesome. I would have preferred a win, but the lack of loss is great as well. 6-0-1
That was fun, guys. Thanks for coming over. :satisfied:
Considering they left Dunn, Griffey, Gonzalez, and Hatteberg in Sarasota and played to a tie when the Yankees started all their regulars, that’s gotta be a moral victory at least.
My pleasure, ma’am – type at ya tomorrow, I’m out.
It was fun game.
And yes, the Reds can hold their heads high.
And if anyone missed Bubba’s great catch, here it is:

(The batter is Eric Duncan, regarded as one of the Yankees best prospects.)
Who needs Marty, Thom, Jeff, Joe and whoever else in the radio booth when I can just tune in the next morning and read the play by play here? Thanks for the recap of the game! Counting the hours till I see the boys in Red on Saturday!!!
Glad you’re enjoying it. For some reason I’m all alone for today’s game, so hopefully the write-up is still an OK read.
You get to see them on Saturday? That’s awesome. Send my love.
