3/15 Buccos vs Redlegs : The Sequel
We have no idea what the lineup is, because C. Trent hasn't given us an update since the early game. We do know that Bobby Livingston is starting for the Reds and trying to keep himself in the running for the #5 spot in the rotation, which seems to be Belisle's to lose at this point.
BOO! Janish strikes out. Here is Denorfia with one out.
Machado steals second. He is hurt, got hit by the throw.
He is ok and stays in the game. Full count now to Denorfia.
A dink hit, Machado scores, tie game!
Game tied!!!
C’mon, boys. Put another one on the board. The last thing you want on double header day is extra innings.
Ball 4 to Votto, Denorfia advances to second. Jorgensen at bat.
Wild pitch (after the pitching coach visited the mound) runners advance! Outfield comes in, infield is in.
up the middle, base hit… Denorfia scores. AND THIS ONE BELONGS TO THE REDS!
And it’s over. Reds win.
Now the fans in attendance can enjoy the fireworks.
Awesome! Go Reds!
(even if it *was* a boring game)
Thanks guys, for keeping the thread going while I was reading bedtime stories and beyond. You’re the awesome. 😉
Woohoo !!!
Now go Xavier !!!
Trent says he texted the score of the Duke-VCU game to Duke grad Krivsky. 😀
