3/22 – Reds versus Yankees

It's the ultimate test of fidelity for BubbaFan: the Reds-Yankees game! Only not today, because Bubba's not starting, as you can see from these line-ups provided by C. Trent:

Wasn't Janish just sent down? They could have worked Bubba in in his place, darn it all.

I’ve learned something today.
And the game is tied. Deno singles to deep right, steals 2B. Wise doubles and plates him. The Hammer at the plate.
Bruney gets Hamilton out. He can’t lay off the high heat.
And Bubba’s in…
It’s Bubba’s chance to shine!
And Bubba goes down swinging. Bruney is pitching pretty well, but might not make the Yankees. Villone is probably going to take the slot we thought Bruney would get.
Santos walks the .143-hitting backup catcher, but he’s stranded when Wise (I think – hard to keep up with the substitutions) makes a nice play in left.
Aw, man. It’s awesome to see the Reds coming back, though. No lead is safe with this team!
