No Josh Hamilton…
I know he’s slumping, but Josh Hamilton on a bad day is better than Castro on a good day.
George Grande and the Cowboy….
Should be an interesting TV Broadcast…
2 out single by Grif
Lohse is up to his old tricks 1-0 Badguys…
nice bunt single by NOHO… 2 on nobody out…
Triple by Freel !!! 3-1 Reds !!!!
Sac Fly by Phillips… 4-1 Reds
Lohse sucks 3 run HR… 4-4
and now we’re losing 5-4 …still nobody out in the 2nd
And now its 6-4…
runner on 2nd still 1 out
now i know why I’m here by myself…..
7-4
Lhose(r) is out.. Santos is in
Dang, I can’t believe it’s only the second inning. At some point, the bullpen *does* become the better option.
Thanks for putting up the gamethread Redsfan68 🙂
Good to have you here RHM..
Not sure how much longer I can stomach this…
The offense is going to have to be superhuman tonight
I heard that Narron called position player practice before the game today. Should have been pitching practice, I think.
9-4
This is freaking unbelievable.
I’m out RHM…
not in to self-inflicted torture…
time to fire Krivsky
Not a Cubs fan, then? 😛
Peace out, Redsfan68.
20 game hitting streak for Brandon Phillips seems awesome, but…how has the Reds’ record been for the last 20 games?
Maybe it’s time to take this guy’s bat away.
Double play erases Phillips hit. It’s 4-9 in the bottom of the fifth in Cleveland.
Santos has now retired seven in a row, as a result of which George said that he’d given the Reds a “shot in the arm.” I guess comparitively that two-run homer to Sizemore doesn’t look so bad.
To hear George compliment the Indians’ double-play that just ended the Reds’ half of the inning, you’d think he was an Indians fan…instead of a Cardinals fan.
Mike Stanton. 8th inning. Yeek.
I know! He must have been possessed by a spirit of a good pitcher to get out of it without giving up any more runs.
Maybe he just needed some rest.
Apparently a day of rest wasn’t enough for Lohse, tho 🙁
