Is Anybody Out There?

The Reds are officially out of it, Griffey's pulled an abdominal muscle, and the game tonight doesn't even start until 10:15. It will be the dedicated Cincinnati-area Reds fan who stays up for this one.

On the other hand, it's Thursday, which is among my favorite nights to party. Maybe I'll stay up late and give myself a manicure or do some scrapbooking.

Or maybe I'll find a press release to call a post for the day and call it a night.

Go Reds!

Griffey’s on the Ground

Ken Griffey, Jr. just slipped in right field at Wrigley and is now rolling around on the grass, holding his groinal area.

Wait, just saw the replay, and it didn't look like he slipped after all. They're thinking maybe he did it during his last AB and is suffering from a twinge now.

Damn, he's still on the ground, even after all the typos I've already corrected. Smart money says he's gotta be done for the year.
