Where did you come from, where did you go
Or, notes from the transaction list…
The big news is that LHP Jon Coutlangus has been traded to Arizona for outfielding prospect Daniel Perales. (No more Coutlangus jokes. Sniff.)
Other Reds transactions, courtesy of Baseball America:

Placed on restricted list: RHP Harris Honeycutt, 2B Wayne Kendrick
Recalled: RHP Richie Gardner
Added to 40-man roster: RHP Johnny Cueto, RHP Mike Lincoln, LHP Kent Mercker, C Paul Bako, OF Corey Patterson
Optioned to Triple-A: LHP Bill Bray
Designated for assignment: LHP Jon Coutlangus
Placed on 7-day DL: RHP Matt Klinker, LHP Scott Sauerbeck, 1B Kevin Barker
Rehab assignment: C David Ross (high Class
A Sarasota)
And some former Reds transactions:
The above-mentioned Michalak was immediately signed by – you guessed it – the Texas Rangers. They may have more former Reds than the Nats.
Then again, maybe not. Ray Olmedo was signed by the Nats (after being released by the Pirates and Phillies). He’s now the starting SS for the Columbus Clippers.
The Dodgers released Love Shack.
The gay porn star, Enrique Cruz, was released by the Mets.
Oakland sent Jeff Fiorentino to the minors.
The Jays recalled Buck Coats from Triple-A. Not sure how long he’ll be with the big club; he’s basically keeping Scott Rolen’s roster spot warm.
And catcher Ryan Jorgensen was put on the restricted list by the Twins. (Gee, I wonder why.)
