Note to Lizard: It Wasn’t You

Elizardo Ramirez walked off the mound tonight looking pretty much like he felt like he'd let down the world. If you're out there, Lizard, reading this: it really wasn't you. Sure, you get the L, but it took a team effort to let this one get away.
Hang in there. You'll get 'em tomorrow.
Nice thought, hope someone gets that word to him. There are plenty of could have, should haves to go around.
I have pretty much accepted the loss, what is annoying me now is the massive damage to the bullpen and rotation, I guess there is a Monday day off, thank goodness.
It’s not his fault, but Lizard did pitch like ass. And he’ll probably do that again tomorrow, because he’s just not a very good pitcher.
I’m with you jbsh56. We’ve got loads of new relievers, but our starters are as shaky as ever. This certainly didn’t make things better.
Hindsight being 20/20, we should have just sent Freel out there.
As for the Lizard not being very good, Geki, he’s having a rough patch but I think it’s too soon to say he’s bad. He did pitch like ass last night, though.
