Good Job, Arroyo
It's zero outs in the bottom of the fifth, and the Astros have already scored more runs this inning than they have the entirety of the rest of the season.
Narron has just now gotten action going in the bullpen.
Who else wants to gag?
Not so much a question of wanting to gag, but of being unable to surpress the urge. If you’d told me before the game that Arroyo was going to enter the fifth inning having retired ten in a row, that Dunn would go 4-for-4, and that Aurilia would go 3-for-5 with a home run, I’d have given you pretty good odds you could put the game in the W column for the Reds.
I think Marc had the best line: “Just before the bottom of the fifth inning Wednesday night, Bronson Arroyo was abducted by aliens. They returned him after six batters.”
