Monday is Dollar Concessions Night
The family and I won't be watching the Reds game today or tomorrow because the Louisville Bats are in town visiting the Indianapolis Indians. We'll be sitting near the visitors' bullpen, so maybe we'll get lucky and catch of glimpse of Ryan Wagner.
And you know I'll be snapping photos of Chris Denorfia, if the camera works.
So, good luck Reds. May you have a brand new winning streak going by the time I'm able to watch again.
Enjoy the game. We went last Monday and ended up seeing the Indians play Pawtucket, who feature Hee Sop Choi at 1B. Pawtucket must keep their players well fed – there’s a lot more Hee Sop than I remember when I last saw him in the majors.
I would also like to warn you that the Indians dumped the nachos from the dollar menu and replaced them with potato chips. That, and the Cracker Jack is woefully short of peanuts. But for a buck, what do you expect?
If you are going to sit that close to the dugout, I’d be sure to wear a Bats uniform. Late in the game you may be called upon to pitch.
Joe, I’ve never had Cracker Jack that wasn’t woefully short on peanuts. It ought to be in the name.
DPardue, man you weren’t kidding. They threw everything and the kitchen sink out there tonight. They ended up with the win, but I’m not prepared to say that the Reds have any help waiting in AAA when their bullpen needs asserts itself, i.e. now.
Yay Denorfia!
